Playing at the intersection of creativity and innovation, Oslo Runway is recognised as the most impactful showcasing arena for fashion and design in Norway. With a growing international reach over the past few years, Oslo Runway has received press coverage and critical acclaim in prominent magazines such as Vogue Italy and Scandinavia, american Harper’s Bazaar, Schön Magazine, ELLE Girl Japan and ELLE Belgium, british Who What Wear, Scandinavian Mind, Dazed, Hypebae, The Times and Forbes.

Participants of Oslo Runway’s official event schedule will be promoted through various media channels, as well as VOCAST, a digital brand sharing platform used by numerous fashion weeks and design fairs. It’s a professional tool making the image content of designers and brands accessible for all, reaching press across borders.

All applicants must apply to maximum two of the enlisted categories:

Runway show
Runway shows will present collections in the traditional runway format. This can be either a digital or physical presentation, directed by you. A show must have a minimum of 100 guests.

Presentation
Presentations will feature a brand’s or designer’s products and/or collections displayed on models or as a part of a curated space or exhibition, in the format of a physical event. A presentation must have a minimum of 100 guests.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner event
Breakfast, lunch and dinner events provide a personal setting to promote your brand. This can be held in addition to your showcasing event, or be your only form of participation during ORW25. The event must have a minimum of 80 guests.

Party
Brands and designers can host a party to promote their brand. This can be held as an addition to your showcasing event, or be the only form of participation during ORW25. Your party can be open to the public or by invite only. The event must have a minimum of 100 guests.

Pop-up at Steen & Strøm Department Store
In collaboration with Steen & Strøm, we will host a pop-up store featuring a selection of Norwegian designer brands. The theme for this year’s pop-up space is Norwegian Heritage & Craft, and will be dedicated to a curated selection of brands exploring modern takes on this. The pop-up will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, and will have an official press opening event. This is a great opportunity to showcase your brand to the press and the public.

Oslo Runway NEXT
Oslo Runway NEXT is established to support Norway’s emerging brands by onboarding them to the Official Schedule, as well as sponsoring both showcasing opportunities and bespoke business mentoring. Each year, two or three emerging brands with impressive collections are selected to participate in the program (for 2 seasons max).

The program offers several bonuses: a mentorship program including a one-year membership at Norwegian Fashion Hub, guidance by Manufacture Oslo, extensive PR through Oslo Runway’s channels, participation in our dedicated Oslo Runway Talent Showroom during ORW25, and 50 000 NOK in financial support to set up your own runway show or presentation during ORW25.

In order to be considered for Oslo Runway NEXT, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be a Norwegian apparel brand
  • Have 2 collections which have been sold via wholesale (minimum of 2 stockists), and/or sell direct-to-consumer
  • Demonstrate innovative design with a strong identity and sustainable approach
  • Be able to set up a runway show or presentation with at least 11 looks (minimum 100 guests)
Oslo Runway Talent Showroom
Our talent program highlights Norwegian design talent and up-and-coming, minor brands. A group of several Norwegian brands, alongside the selected NEXT brands of the season, will be featured in a designated Oslo Runway Talent Showroom. This is a great opportunity to introduce your work, aesthetics and visions to the press, selected industry profiles and the public.
